Day 1 14th February 2005

Sees deliveries to site. The deck abuts a Summer House and will measure 5 x 4 metres with staircase access to and from down to garden.
 Sloping gardens are ideal for raised decking. The decks creat a flat plateau for multi-use.
The basic outer frame for the sub-deck is positioned, and main bearers set and concreted into ground. At it's highest point, the deck will be raised by approximately 1.1m.

Sub deck frame for the decking project is positioned ready for the support posts and joists.


Day 2 15th Feb 200

Sub-deck finished, Newel posts for balustrade fixed and concreted, fair bit of decking done - and the sun shone! A beautiful day for decking in East Sussex.


Day 3    Feb 16th 2005

Making good headway -  then it rained/sleeted!


Day 4   17th Feb 2005

Balustrades and basic staircase completed - just before a shower stopped play - AGAIN!!!


Day 5  Feb 18th 2005

Job done!  Weather held out - Just! Snow forecast - yipeedeee!
