Cleaning a DeckOiling a Deck Oiled Deck Video
|
This purpose made play timber playhouse and swing set were made by the Top Deck team, to suit the particular garden and needs of our client (and children). Timber play equipment is generally fine for trouble free play. However, most timber splits to varying degrees outside. Whilst this is not a structural problem, it can be overcome to a great extent either by painting, or annual treatment of deck oil. |
All timbers used are similar or identical to the heavyweight timbers we use for our decking project. All framing and construction timbers are pressure treated tanalised - giving a rot-free guarantee of 15 years!
Good builders merchants will stock 'regularised' timbers. These are generally smooth, well grained, and quite similar to timber used by professionals.
