High level deck at Eynsford Kent. Overcame a problem on a steep sloping garden

Wasted space turned into a fabulous deck area. The high level deck allowed for stunning views over the valley. The high deck was accessible by means of a timber decking staircase.

A huge amount of wasted space at top of sloping garden to be turned into an evening sun-trap decking area with staircase down to lower level. Fencing and trellis screening to complete the work and add privacy. Project includes substantial groundworks and levelling of site, together with removal of overgrown and uninteresting shrubs. There is a 1.2metre height difference between the lower and higher areas of the garden with no existing access to and from.

The deck together with the decking staircase overcame this problem

Day 4 - Fri 13th Jan 2006

More or less decked and the staircase constructed

The uprights for the 'platform' area of deck installed and concreted in to allow the staircase to be built. Size of staircase gives better idea of height of deck!!
